Privacy policy
Effective date: February 28, 2026
This Privacy Policy describes how Planely (“we”) handles personal information when you browse our marketing site, sign in, manage settings, or use AI generation features routed through our servers.
What we collect
- Session profile — Display name and email you enter at sign-in, stored locally in your browser so the app can recognize your workspace on this device.
- Projects, previews, and chat — Stored in browser storage on your device unless you configure cloud sync or a tenant backend later.
- Prompts and instructions — Submitted only when generation or edit APIs are invoked.
- Technical telemetry — Standard logs (IP-derived rate limiting identifiers, timestamps).
How we use it
Prompts plus generated HTML/CSS/JS are processed by downstream model providers strictly to fulfil the request. We enforce guardrails server-side against clearly abusive instructions where implemented. We use rate limiting to mitigate automated abuse.
Retention
Stateless cloud deployments discard request bodies after fulfilment aside from ephemeral provider logs governed by their policies. Locally stored artefacts remain on your devices until cleared.
Transfers
Transmitting prompts to frontier models may involve processors in jurisdictions where you reside and abroad. We recommend against placing highly sensitive regulated personal data inside prompts unless your deployment meets your compliance obligations.
Rights
Where applicable Data Protection law grants rights of access or erasure, contact us via the legal address on the Terms page. You can also clear browser storage anytime to remove local projects, chat, and session data on your device.
Cookies
We do not rely on marketing cookies for core features. Add your own analytics cookie banner if you wire a provider at deployment time. Session data may use localStorage on the device you are using.
Children
Planely is not directed toward children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Changes
Updates will be flagged by revising the effective date. Material changes impacting model processing will be summarized here.
